Stubborn

I wasn't going to sleep until I got that damn driver working. I did get it working, the video I watched that showed the install skipped a step that was required for me. Get the driver here if you have an Atheros L1E or L2 networking card. This works for my Asus M4A78-E board. Next run these commands.

#tar xvf atge-2.6.5.tar.gz
#cd atge-2.6.5
#make install
#./adddrv.sh

Then reboot! I wasn't rebooting for the first few tries and was getting frustrated and then rebooted and when I got back in, my network monitor told me my new IP address! Success. I've got synergy going now too so I'm all set to start to set up my ZFS file system and sharing.
