QR-Codes
If the image makes no sense to you, let me explain. First off, this isn't exactly Unix based in any way, its a fun toy I was introduced to today. Many cell phones today can get applications that read barcodes of all types, making it easy to shop around while in a store for a particular item. They also can be used to encode information that can be scanned by someone else. For instance, you could put a barcode on the back of your business card with your contact information. Someone could scan the barcode, and bam they have your contact information in their cell phone. Its crazy! Its genius! Why has it not caught on in America like it has elsewhere?
